Lip fillers in Brighton and Seaford

Lip fillers have become one of the most popular dermal filler treatments available today. The Sloan Clinics offer lip filler treatments at our Brighton and Seaford aesthetic clinics. We provide bespoke treatments using high quality dermal fillers for lip enhancement, shaping and volumisation  Dr Emma Sloan is an expert injector and Harley Street trainer. Dr Sloan regularly teaches lip filler masterclasses on behalf of international cosmetic training provider Derma Medical.

How do lip fillers work?

Dermal fillers can be used to plump up and augment the lips by restoring volume and definition. They can also be used to tackle imperfections such as asymmetry, smoker’s lines, and wrinkled lips.

The most commonly used dermal fillers are Hyaluronic acid based. Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar that is contained in almost every part of our body and because it is naturally occurring substance within our body it is safe, effective; therefore, very unlikely to cause allergy. As we age the body produces less and less Hyaluronic acid and we start to lose other structures and substances that provide the contour and volume to the face.

You can book in for a lip filler treatment at our Brighton or Seaford clinics through our online booking calendar or contact us for further information.

The procedure lasts 20-30 minutes. Topical local anaesthetic cream is sometimes needed for this and there is very little discomfort as a result of this.

The majority of people require no downtime following these procedures and can return to normal activities the same day.

Results are seen immediately. The full result is usually seen 7-14 days after treatment and can be expected to last 6-18 months.
